Question: What are dreams?

Answer: Dreams are the journey of our soul and part of our mind. These two things are usually intertwined. Very rarely are our desires separate from our spirit and vice versa. Both are part of our privacy. Dreams are a visualization of our desires, goals, fears, past, and much more. With the help of our mind, these things come to life in the picture we see. When we are in balance, our dreams are mostly positive. When we are not, they are a bit less so.

Q: Can we control dreams?
A: Yes, of course. After all, they come from within us. We can also use sleep time to explore that world. However, it is important to know that this also exhausts the body. Basically, sleep should be a rest from this.

Q: What are nightmares?

A: They are an imbalance of our desires and spirit. Sometimes we go down a path outside of our comfort zone, which can leave us in fear. This fear is usually the fear for survival. It does not exactly come from within us but from what we have been taught and what we have taught ourselves. Going outside of the comfort zone is difficult because we have learned that somewhere is safe. As soon as we go into unknown waters, we can feel a sense of danger because we have not yet learned what is safe. When we do the same thing repeatedly, it is predictable. The feeling of fear for survival is actually the fear that we will not be able to handle new experiences.

Q: How do we deal with this?

A: Our consciousness is greatly involved in this. The soul knows that it will manage. We do not know that we will. Self-talk is important, how we talk to ourselves without realizing it. If you were to take a child to school and they were afraid of a new situation, you would not say, 'You should be able to handle this, why can't you?' Right? You would most likely calm them down and tell them they are capable of more than they think, and give them a sense of security. We should do the same with ourselves because we are just children who have been on this world longer.

In reality, we never truly learn things. We just learn to trust our abilities more, which consequently leads to better decisions for us. To tolerate does not mean not to redirect. If we see that one direction really does not suit us, we do not have to force tolerance. We can redirect elsewhere. Like with a child. We would not force them into something they are not good at, but find what they are good at.
