Answer: They say that suicide is a moment of misunderstanding between the soul and the ego. That's why people who fail often try until they succeed.
This misunderstanding is more about a way of thinking than just thinking in the current situation. A suicidal person is suicidal in all aspects of life. It means they can be suicidal in their job, in relationships, in friendships. The way of thinking is consistent with the person. Their whole life can be marked by a suicidal mindset.
Question: Why doesn't the soul prevent it? Doesn't it have that power?
A: It happens too quickly. We have too many options to end our life quickly.
Q: But people often plan suicide long-term. The soul has enough time to intervene...
A: In such cases, it's due to a physical imbalance, and the soul cannot reach that person.
Q: Why do some decide to take this step at a very young age while others do it in old age?
A: The only difference is that those who do it in old age have managed to fill that imbalance with other people. They kept their life going for others. And at one point, they just couldn't continue anymore.
The real meaning of life should be within us, not in others. We don't find the meaning of life in others. We find others in the meaning of life.
Q: What about people who go to war? Isn't that self-destruction?
A: Yes. If you consciously go to war, you don't value your life. You believe that the main person's goal in that war is greater than your own life. Sacrificing your life is not a mission.
Q: What about a "hero" who gave their life for freedom?
A: They say they don't see the need for sacrificing some for freedom. The freedom of people makes freedom.
